    70th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment

NATO Multinational Battle Group soldiers stationed at Bemowo Piskie Training Area (BPTA) stand in formation during a transfer of authority (TOA) ceremony at BPTA, Poland, Jan. 29, 2025. The TOA ceremony transferred authority from the 2-12th Cavalry Regiment to the incoming 1-64th Armored Regiment. Change of command ceremonies are a long-standing Army tradition that marks the formal transfer of authority and responsibility from one unit to another. Battle group Poland's mission is to engage in multinational training and exercises across the continent, while strengthening partnerships with our NATO allies and regional security partners, which provides competent and ready forces to V Corps, America’s forward-deployed corps in Europe.
