Marine Pfc. Naim K. Olverson loads Special Effects Small Arms Marking System rounds March 13 during Military Operations on Urban Terrain training in abandoned military housing on NCTAMS during Exercise Guahan Shield. Guahan Shield is an exercise designed to prepare for multiservice engagements, set conditions for training opportunities involving multiple units, and support rapid response to potential crises and military operations in the Asia-Pacific region. Olverson is part of Company L, 3rd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, which is currently assigned to 4th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force under the unit deployment program.
