Bryan Barker, command sergeant major of the XVIII Airborne Corps, delivers remarks during the awards ceremony for the XVIII Airborne Corps Brigade Separates Best Squad Competition at Fort Eustis, Virginia, on Feb. 6, 2025. Over the course of 36 hours, eight teams from brigades under the XVIII Airborne Corps conducted 17 separate events and challenges, ranging from physical fitness assessments, weapons qualifications, day and night land navigation, and other warrior tasks and battle drills.
