U.S. Army Maj. Aaron Gaber, the chaplain for the 56th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 28th Infantry Division, Pennsylvania National Guard in support of the Joint Multinational Training Group-Ukraine mission, shares a prayer with the unit Soldiers prior to walking key locations of the Kall Trail, Jan. 24, 2025. The prayer that Gaber read was written in 1945 by Lt. Col. William F. Train for the Soldiers of the 28th ID, titled, "Our Father, Creator of beauty and life." The staff ride afforded the 56th SBCT Soldiers the opportunity to study, walk through and commemorate the history of the 28th ID's involvement in the World War II Battle of the Huertgen Forest.
