NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY SOUDA BAY, Greece (Feb. 9, 2025) From left to right, Mass Communication Specialist Seaman Apprentice Seth Florez and Mass Communication Specialist Seaman Nicolas Quezada, both assigned to American Forces Network Souda Bay, are welcomed aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) for a ship tour on Feb. 8, 2025. Naval Support Activity (NSA) Souda Bay provides logistical and operational support to the components of the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group, which arrived in the Eastern Mediterranean after two months of combat operations in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility. NSA Souda Bay is an operational ashore installation that enables and supports U.S., Allied, Coalition, and partner nation forces to preserve security and stability in the European, African, and Central Command areas of responsibility.
