Two U.S. Air Force F-35A Lightning IIs assigned to the 134th Fighter Squadron, Burlington Air National Guard Base, Burlington, Vermont fly together over the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command area of responsibility after conducting an aerial refuel with a U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker assigned to the 465th Air Refueling Squadron, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, Feb. 7, 2025 during exercise Cope North 2025. CN25 is an annual Pacific Air Forces Field Training Exercise designed to foster and enhance interoperability between PACAF, U.S. Marine Corps, Royal Australian Air Force and Japan Air Self Defense Force to ensure a free and open Indo-Pacific.
