Construction progresses on the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers project to build a new 41,000-square-foot Child Development Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, Feb. 10, 2024. When completed, this $24 million facility will provide day care services for dependent children of active duty, DoD civilian, active-duty reservists and contractor personnel at the base by creating space for an additional 200 children ranging from infant through five years old. The project broke ground May, 13, 2025 and is expected to be completed in fall 2026. (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers photo by Charles Delano)
