U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to the 4th Combat Aviation Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, run around the first bend of many during the Norwegian Foot March, Feb. 7, 2025, on Fort Carson, Colorado. The Norwegian Foot March was originally designed to assess the stamina of soldiers in the Norwegian military, challenging individuals to traverse 18.6 miles while carrying a 24 pound rucksack and completing under a set time limit based on age varying from four hours and 35 minutes to five hours 15 minutes. The 4th Combat Aviation Brigade is centerfolding this event for building camaraderie within the ranks and allowing Soldiers a chance to earn the highly coveted Norwegian Foot March Badge.
