250206-N-CF730-1004 – SAN DIEGO (Feb. 6, 2025) U.S. Navy force protection Sailors assigned to Naval Base San Diego receive training during an active shooter drill conducted during exercise Citadel Shield 2025 (CS 25). Exercise Citadel Shield Solid Curtain 2025 is a two-part, anti-terrorism force protection exercise that is being conducted nationwide on Navy installations. The annual exercise is not in response to any specific threat but is used to evaluate the readiness of fleet and installation security programs.
