U.S. Marine Corps Brig. Gen. Kevin Collins, commanding general of 3rd Marine Logistics Group, and members of his command staff receive a brief from U.S. Army Lt. Col. Erik Hansen, battalion commander of 765th Transportation Terminal Battalion, 10th Support Group, aboard the USAV Gen. Brehon B. Somervell (LSV-3), during a tour at Yokohama North Docks, Japan, Jan. 31, 2025. Collins attended a brief and toured the vessel to better understand the logistics capabilities of Yokohama North Dock and the 765th TTB and to discuss possible training and integration opportunities with 3rd MLG. 3rd MLG is focused on enhancing cooperation with partner nations, strengthening partnerships and demonstrating its role as a critical element in maintaining a ready and capable force to deter adversary actions and support a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
