Belgium Defence Force brought IMCCC participatants to the Tyne Cot Cemetery to honor the fallen, Passchendaele Memorial to honor those who died in WW1, and to the Yper, Belgium for a cultural experience. During each remembrance ceremony, chaplains from each country provided remarks, prayers to honor the bravery of men and women all over the world that have died for their country and for freedom.
The International Military Chiefs of Chaplains Conference (IMCCC) began in 1990 to unite senior military chaplains in supporting those affected by combat; today, it strengthens international relations, enhances spiritual care, advises commanders on religion in theater, and promotes religious freedom—now including dozens of countries, with IMCCC 2025 hosting 200 participants from 43 nations.
