Col. Kenneth M. Dwyer, Commander, Leader Training Brigade, Fort Jackson, delivered the opening address at the Army Nurse Corps Senior Leader Forum on Jan. 28, 2025. He spoke passionately about the vital role Army nurses played in his recovery when in 2006, he was wounded by an airburst RPG while leading a Special Forces Team in Afghanistan.
