U.S. Air Force Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) team members assigned to the 19th Air Support Operations Squadron prepare for night operations during a Bamboo Eagle 25-1 exercise at an island in the North Pacific, Feb. 13, 2025. TACP teams provided distributed ground-based Command and Control (C2) capabilities to create a more resilient, diverse communication and C2 structure for the exercise. The objective of exercises with speed and scale is to demonstrate the Department of the Air Force preparedness for complex, large-scale military operations, demonstrating the ability to operate in a contested, dynamic environment against high end threats on short notice.
