U.S. Airmen with the 139th Aerial Port Flight, work with the aircrew of a C-130H Hercules aircraft, assigned to the 139th Airlift Wing, to perform a combat offload method B during Winter Training for the Advanced Airlift Tactics Training Center at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, January 14, 2025. Winter Training is a break from the regular course schedule where the instructors of the AATTC tweak the training scenarios for the coming year and perform them, with the help of guest units, to keep their skills fresh. Combat offloads are performed when traditional equipment used to remove cargo from an aircraft, like a K-loader, are not available. Since 1983 the training center has provided advanced tactical training to airlift aircrews from the Air National Guard, Air Force Reserve Command, Air Mobility Command, U.S. Marine Corps and 17 allied nations.
