The 63d Readiness Division is making history with the first-ever Intergovernmental Support Agreement (IGSA) for the U.S. Army Reserve, officially signed earlier this month at 63d RD headquarters in Mountain View, California, in partnership with Sourcewell. This agreement allows the Army Reserve to work with state and local governments to streamline procurement, reduce costs, and enhance mission readiness for over 100+ 63d locations across its seven-state footprint that includes: California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.
With the IGSA, the 63d RD can access pre-approved contractors and work directly with Sourcewell for faster acquisition of critical goods and services, cutting through delays and inefficiencies of traditional procurement.
This agreement sets a new standard for Army Reserve procurement that is efficient, cost-effective, and mission-focused. The 63d RD is paving the way for future collaborations, ensuring facilities and operations remain mission-ready at all times.
