Brig. Gen. Andrew Conant's brother, a colonel in the U.S. Marine Corps, hugs Conant after presenting him the one-star flag, Feb. 13, 2025, in his brother's promotion ceremony at Joint Force Headquarters. The one-star flag is to be displayed at the 167th Theater Sustainment Command to signify Conant's command as the unit's Deputy Commanding General. The 167th is tasked with the monumental logistics mission of opening, sustaining and closing entire theaters of operation for ongoing support and sustainment operations for all of the U.S. Army South and U.S. Southern Command.
