Airborne hazards, including dusts, particles, fibers, mists, vapors, fumes or gases, are potentially toxic substances to which a person is exposed when breathing air. While everyone is exposed, more exposures and longer durations can increase risk. Public health experts recommend educating yourself, talking to your healthcare provider and reducing exposures when possible.
