The U.S. Corps of Engineers – Far East District hosted its first “Bring Your Kid to Work Day” event Feb. 14, 2025, at Camp Humphreys, South Korea in celebration of Engineers Week. Children had the opportunity to speak with Public Affairs (PAO), Information Management Office (IMO), Design Branch in the Engineering Division (ED), Construction Division (CD) and Geotechnical & Environmental Engineering Branch. In the Geotechnical labs, children were able to identify asbestos through a microscope with the help of Kyong Eun Lee, Environmental Engineer, and Kyong Ho Kim, Chemist.
