U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Marco Velasco posts security during a battalion-level squad competition on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Feb. 19, 2025. The squad competition tested the Marines’ physical fitness, teamwork, and core infantry skills to determine the 12th Marine Littoral Regiment’s top-performing squad. Designed to evaluate tactics, techniques, and procedures, the event also promotes professional growth and camaraderie through healthy competition.
