Tech. Sgt. Charles Brooks, 403rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron crew chief, purged the liquid oxygen system on a WC-130J Super Hercules before refilling with liquid oxygen for an atmospheric river mission. Members from the 403rd AMXS are required to deploy with the 53rd Weather Reconnaissance Squadron during the atmospheric river season to ensure the aircraft are operational and ready for each mission.
