Paparo, commander of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, participate in an honors ceremony at Camp Aguinaldo during a visit to Manila, Philippines, Feb. 21, 2025. The trip underscored U.S. commitment to the U.S.-Philippines Mutual Defense Treaty in addressing current and emerging threats in the region, while honoring the deep people-to-people ties between the two countries as they mark the 80th anniversary of the Liberation of Manila on Feb. 22.
