Elizabeth Treece, a native of Johnson City, Tenn., mans a watch station in the combat information center aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Shoup (DDG 86) alongside Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force sailors from the Maya-class guided-missile destroyer JS Haguro (DDG 180) during Fleet Synthetic Training-Joint (FST-J) 25-71 (Resilient Shield), Feb. 24.
