U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agent, Daniel Perez, explains to U.S. Soldiers the husbandry skills it takes to work mounted patrol on the Southern Border at the Santa Teresa Border Patrol Station, Santa Teresa, New Mexico, Feb. 20, 2025. U.S. Northern Command is working together with the Department of Homeland Security to augment U.S. Customs and Border Protection along the southern border with additional military forces.
