250219-N-XI187-0080 REPUBLIC OF KOREA (Feb. 19, 2025) Boatswain’s Mate 1st Class Ray McAuliffe and Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Jasper Ramos, both assigned to Navy Reserve Military Sealift Command Headquarters, Expeditionary Port Unit, participate in a community outreach event helping adults practice English during exercise Freedom Banner 2025 in Jinhae-gu province, Republic of Korea, Feb. 19. MSC is providing support in this year’s iteration of Freedom Banner by ensuring the Fleets are manned, trained and equipped to deliver essential supplies, fuel, cargo, and equipment to warfighters, both at sea and on shore. Freedom Banner is an annual exercise that integrates maritime operations between naval forces and joint forces from the United States and Republic of Korea.
