U.S. Marine Corps recruits with Golf Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, prepare to conduct the tread portion of the water survival training class at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, S.C., Feb. 25, 2025. Recruits are taught basic water survival prior to conducting their basic swim qualification.
