250226-N-HT008-1156 SOUTH CHINA SEA (Feb. 26, 2025) A helicopter from from Helicopter Maritime Stike Squadron 49 Detachment 2 aboard the Independence-class littoral combat ship USS Savannah (LCS-28) lands on the flight deck of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Milius (DDG 69) in the South China Sea, Feb. 26. Milius is forward-deployed and assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
