United States Air Force Lt. Col. Elle Cleaves, a Uniformed Services University (USU) Health Sciences clinical director, sits in on a morning interdisciplinary team meeting with NMCCL's inpatient psychiatric team on February 26, 2025. NMCCL hosts USU students from multiple medical disciplines which requires a visit from a clinical director every three years. NMCCL is home to the Psychiatry Residency Program, a partnership with NOVANT Health that trains both military and civilian residents to graduate as board-eligible psychiatry residents.
