U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Joseph Campo celebrates with members of the 75th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron, during a visit on Feb. 5, 2025, at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti. Campo serves as the Director of Operations, Strategic Deterrence and Nuclear Integration for Headquarters U.S. Air Forces in Europe and U.S Air Forces Africa, at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. In his role, he oversees the 603rd Air Operation Center, which responds to many U.S. Africa Command requirements, including fulfillment of airlift and aeromedical missions.
