NATO Multinational Battle Group soldiers stationed at Bemowo Piskie Training Area (BPTA) prepare their equipment for a road march during the Emergency Deployment Readiness Exercise (EDRE) in BPTA, Poland, Feb. 24, 2025. This exercise empowers units to enhance their readiness and refine their capability to mobilize at a moment's notice. The battle group consists of soldiers from U.S., Poland, Romania, U.K. and Croatia whose mission is to engage in multinational training and exercises across the continent, with the goal of strengthening partnerships and increasing interoperability which provides competent and ready forces to V Corps, America’s forward-deployed corps in Europe.
