Members of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers debris team are currently providing federal support throughout a 11-county area in Eastern Kentucky after recent flooding. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District is working in partnership with local, state and federal agencies in response to flooding, which impacted Eastern Kentucky. When disasters occur, USACE works under the direction of FEMA to support state and local governments in responding to major disasters.
