(February 11, 2025) U.S. Navy Captain Mark “Clint” Burke, commodore of Naval Special Warfare Center speaks with Dr. Sandra Hobson the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations and Low-Intensity Conflict, and the Director, Secretariat for Special Operations, on the Naval Special Warfare Basic Training Command grinder during a visit on Naval Amphibious Base Coronado. In her role, Hobson supports the readiness and organization of special operations forces, resources and equipment, and civilian personnel. Naval Special Warfare Center trains the forces that provide maritime special operations capability to enable Joint Force lethality and survivability inside denied and contested areas.
