Brig. Gen Michael Ake, the Land Component Commander for the U.S. Army Washington National Guard, closes the humanitarian assistance and disaster relief training with Gen. Songwit Noonpackdee, Thai Chief of Defense Forces, Cha Choeng Sao, Thailand, Feb. 27, 2025, during Exercise Cobra Gold. U.S. Armed Forces, alongside Thai and other multinational forces, conducted HADR training during Cobra Gold, the largest joint exercise in mainland Asia, highlighting the strong partnership between Thailand and the United States while fostering cooperation with allied and partner nations.
