250222N-N0869-1001 NEW ORLEANS (Feb. 22, 2025) NEW ORLEANS (Feb. 22, 2025) Sailors assigned to the Ohio-class ballistic-missile submarine USS Louisiana (SSBN 743) participate in a shoreline restoration community relations event hosted by the Pontchartrain Conservancy during a namesake visit to Louisiana, Feb. 22, 2025. Commander, Submarine Group (SUBGRU) 9, exercises administrative control authority for assigned submarine commands and units in the Pacific Northwest providing oversight for shipboard training, personnel, supply and material readiness of submarines and their crews.
