Rain and generally wet conditions blasted the Pacific Northwest over the February 22nd through 23rd weekend. Chief Joseph Dam in northeastern Washington State saw rain, Feb. 24, as the atmospheric river moved through the area. This rain melted off a lot of low-level snow (as seen in the background) but didn’t impact how USACE managed inflows to its projects, such as Chief Joseph Dam.
