Eastern, Ky. (Mar. 04, 2025) - FEMA has officially opened a Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) at the Floyd County Board of Education to provide critical assistance to individuals and families impacted by recent flooding in the area. The center will offer a range of services, including information on disaster assistance programs, help with applications for aid, and resources for rebuilding efforts. FEMA representatives, along with other local and state agencies, will be available to guide survivors through the recovery process and provide the support needed to help the community recover and rebuild. The DRC is open to all flood survivors, and no appointment is required to receive assistance.
