U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Jakob Jorgensen is meritoriously promoted to the rank of corporal on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, March 5, 2025. The promotion ceremony marked Jorgensen’s entrance into the Noncommissioned Officer ranks of the Marine Corps, signifying the taking of greater responsibilities. Jorgensen was selected by the 3d Marine Division meritorious board for his leadership ability, initiative, and technical proficiency. Jorgensen, a native of Pennsylvania, is an electro-mechanical/information and communication technology maintainer with 12th Littoral Anti-Air Battalion, 12th Marine Littoral Regiment, 3d Marine Division.
