After a yearlong deployment, 78 soldiers with Company F, 1st Attack Reconnaissance Battalion, 227th Aviation Regiment, 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, march towards their family members and friends during a homecoming ceremony March 15 Hood Army Airfield, Fort Hood, Texas. During their mission in Afghanistan, soldiers operated 12 Gray Eagle aircraft and flew more than 10,000 hours.
