    Whitesburg, Ky. (Mar. 05, 2025) - FEMA has opened its 8th Disaster Recovery Center in Letcher County, KY, to assist flood survivors. Located at the Letcher County Recreation Center in Whitesburg, the center offers vital services including housing assistance, disaster-related grants, and recovery resources. FEMA representatives, along with state and local agencies, are on-site to help survivors navigate the recovery process and provide support as they rebuild their lives following the devastating floods. The center is open to all eligible residents, with no appointment required.
