(Mar. 05, 2025) - Cane Kitchen is hosting FEMA’s Disaster Survivor Assistance in Letcher County, KY, offering additional support to flood survivors alongside FEMA’s Disaster Recovery Center at the nearby Letcher County Recreation Center in Whitesburg. The partnership provides survivors with a one-stop location to access FEMA’s assistance, including help with housing, disaster-related grants, and guidance through the recovery process. Cane’s Kitchen offers a welcoming space where survivors can connect with FEMA representatives, while also receiving vital resources, like food supplies and ready made meals to aid in their recovery from the recent flooding.
