U.S., Thai, and Malaysian service members watch a Mauy Thai performance during a handover ceremony to celebrate the completion of a multi-purpose school building constructed for their engineering civic action project, Rayong, Thailand, March 6, during Exercise Cobra Gold. The project took 36 days, and 13,000 man hours to complete. Cobra Gold is the largest joint exercise in mainland Asia taking place from Feb. 26 – Mar. 8, 2025. Cobra Gold highlights the strong partnership between Thailand and the United States while strengthening interoperability and enhancing readiness through field exercises, disaster simulations and humanitarian projects with allied and partnered nations and civilian agencies.
