Kennedy (CVN 79) operate engine and steering consoles during a simulated ship transit through the Chesapeake Bay Thimble Shoals at the Mariner Skills Training Center Atlantic (MSTCLANT). John F. Kennedy is the second Ford-class aircraft carrier and is under construction at HII’s Newport News Shipbuilding (NNS) division in Newport News, Virginia.
