Mineman 2nd Class Ryan Emery, originally from Kingsville, Texas, and assigned to Mobile Mine Assembly Unit (MOMAU) 8, uses a speed handle to set the bolts in a Mark 65 mine. Sailors from both MOMAU 8 and MOMAU 5 are conducting their annual training with Navy Munitions Command East Asia Division Unit Misawa. The units are working together on mine-building qualifications and certifications during the two-week training period.
