U.S. Army soldiers with Charlie Battery, 1st Battalion, 41st Field Artillery Regiment set up a Lightweight Laser Designator Rangefinder (LLDR) in the forward observation area at Pabrade Training Area, Lithuania, Mar. 06, 2025. The LLDR enables the forward observers to rapidly pull a target grid without a map. This greatly decreases the time it takes to call for fire while providing a target within 10 meters of accuracy. Soldiers worked alongside the German Armed Forces from the multinational battle group of Lithuania to conduct a joint training exercise to increase lethality, interoperability, while sharing training amongst NATO allies.
