Marines of Assault Amphibious Vehicle Company stack up and begin to move toward their objective Jan. 10, 2012, at combat town in the Central Training Area. CAB began its storied history as 1st Amphibian Tractor Battalion Feb. 16, 1942, at Marine Corps Air Station New River, N.C., before moving to its current home on Camp Schwab in July of 1969.
