A U.S. Marine Corps AH-1Z Viper and a UH-1Y Venom both assigned to Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron (HMLA) 367, Marine Aircraft Group 39, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, fly over an impact zone during a live-fire, fire support coordination exercise at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, March 12, 2025. HMLA-367 provided close air support to Marines with 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division, and 1st Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company, I Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group, to enhance overall operational effectiveness and strengthen battlefield capabilities across the Marine Air-Ground Task Force.
