Rep. Trent Kelly of the 1st congressional district of Mississippi presents his U.S. House of Representatives challenge coin to Col. Christopher Costello, commander of the 56th Stryker Brigade Combat Team in support of the Joint Multinational Training Group-Ukraine mission, and Command Sgt. Maj. James Short during a congressional delegation visit at Grafenwoehr Training Area, March 17, 2025. The purpose of the visit was to discuss local transportation and infrastructure at GTA and learn about the JMTG-U mission. Under the guidance of U.S. European Command, U.S. Army Europe and Africa and Security Assistance Group-Ukraine, the 7th Army Training Command and JMTG-U lead the training for the Armed Forces of Ukraine at Grafenwoehr.
