A two day musculoskeletal medicine training symposium was held on 6-7 MARCH hosted by Parris Island and delivered by trainers affiliated with USUHS’s Consortium for Health and Military Performance (CHAMP) in partnership with Active Duty & Veterans’ Holistic Musculoskeletal Management and Enhancement (ADVet HOMME) to deliver holistic, musculoskeletal pain-management resources, following the DoD Total Force Fitness and VA Whole Health frameworks. Clinicians in the course were trained on a wide range of musculoskeletal examinations, triaging, and treatments.
