Soldiers from the Red Lions remain sharp and mission-ready as they execute critical training and operations during Freedom Shield 25.
1st Platoon “Reapers” conducted Preliminary Marksmanship Instruction (PMI) in preparation for M4/M17 Law Enforcement Weapons Training and Qualification (LEWTAQ).
2nd Platoon “Misfits” continued Law Enforcement Operations at USAG Casey, ensuring safety and security for the community.
3rd Platoon “Savages” engaged in a Field Training Exercise (FTX) at USAG Yongsan, sharpening their skills in a demanding operational environment.
As the exercise progresses, the Red Lions demonstrate their dedication to readiness and excellence. Freedom Shield is an annual, routine combined ROK-U.S. exercise in which Eighth Army commanders, Soldiers, and staff work alongside their Republic of Korea Army (ROKA)counterparts in field exercises and virtual training environments.
