A U.S. Army UH-60 Black Hawk with Alpha Company, 3rd Assault Helicopter Battalion, 501st Aviation Regiment, 1st Armored Division, Combat Aviation Brigade flies to pick up troops for an Emergency Deployment Readiness Exercise (EDRE) from Lithuania to Camp Reedo, Estonia, March 15, 2025. The versatile Black Hawk is an integral part of the Army's airlift capability, able to quickly move an 11-person squad or more than four tons of cargo carried beneath. Task Force Iron conducts multinational training and exercises across Europe to enhance lethality and readiness while strengthening partnerships with NATO allies and regional security partners.
