CHINHAE, South Korea (Feb. 26, 2025) – Seabees from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3, Detachment Chinhae, host a maintenance yard tour for Republic of Korea Navy (ROKN) Sailors assigned to ROKN NMCB 2 and 59th Naval Mobile Construction Squadron,, showcasing U.S. Civil Engineering Support Equipment onboard Commander, Fleet Activities Chinhae, Feb. 26. This knowledge exchange strengthens interoperability and ensures both forces are prepared to support combined operations. NMCB-3 serves as the stand-in engineering force for Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet, executing high-quality construction operations, activities, and investments, and is capable at the unit-of-action level to support major combat operations in the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command area of operations with efficient airfield, waterfront, and advanced base construction.
